is there an actual quest to get all 8? how do I start it?

There's not an actual quest that gets added to your journal or anything, but there is a relevant thing to do with all 8 masks. It's in the center-ish area of Labyrinthian, inside one of those hut things. You'll see a skeleton with a note and a Wooden Mask near him. Read the note. Put on the mask. You'll figure out the rest.

Ahhh..... you're after the illusive "ninth dragon priest mask". I don't think it looks as good, and still never seen it's affect work. Shame.

@velorian -- thanks. yeah I had read something to that effect, that was the quest I was hoping for. that seems to call out for a simple quest. oh well.

I sold a couple masks already and i dont see them at the store i sold them too anymore. Am i never going to be able to do this little quest then?

I didnt know you could collect all 8 for something untill after i sold some masks
