lol the real supporters of bethesda are the people who complain. blindly defending them does not help things. sure some peoples complaints are not worded very well, but how much would you care about that if you had been buying their games since 1994 and seeing the same problems in game after game over all those years? or how about watching them remove more and more stuff from their games in the name of accessibility(especially when some of that stuff they keep removing are some of the things that made the elder scrolls games so great). sure they have improved some stuff with skyrim, but they have gone backwards in a lot of places as well.
He's not saying constructive criticism is a bad thing. He's saying trolls and whiners have taken over the forums, and they have. By my logic that's because the rest of us are too busy playing the game to come here and troll on a regular basis.
I will say this about the patch though....They fixed several "rare" bugs that didn't really effect the overall gameplay, and neglected several bugs that were far more important imo. Such as the bug I ran into on my assassin that won't allow me to complete the Thieves Guild. That is more game breaking than some of the nonsense they patched....with the exception of the PS3 file size bug obviously. They did a wonderful job on this game and I love it, I think they could have done better on the patch but I still support them as a company. Not "blindly", but I support them.
If they ever turn into Bioware/EA then I'll stop following them altogether.
