100% MP Completion - A bit too much?

Post » Thu Jul 29, 2010 11:47 pm

Hey,

I'm not expecting or wanting Crytek to do anything, this is just to discuss with you guys whether you think the some of skill assessments you need to complete are a little bit too difficult to complete. I'm in for a challenge but some of those assessments are beyond a joke, especially the Nanosuit Reboot ones.

Anyone agree? I don't think I'm going to both trying. 250 headshots with Nova and 150 kills whilst sliding bit too laborious to me.

The sliding would be possible, take while though. But with a Nova, no way. Or head shots.

Well, I had all my stats reset on me around level 45. So, until they fix all the stuff wrong with game (and there is a huge list), I wouldn't even worry about the 100% thing. Especially, with a stats reset glitch out there (stay away from private matches- at least one way I know it happens).

The nova one is actually simpler than some think. I regularly run in to someone when my rifle has only a couple of rounds left and instead of reloading I automatically go for my pistol. Switching to a sidearm is faster than reloading, and if your in short range with a static (or close to static) target headshots are rather easy when you ADS if you can aim properly. Ive had quiet a few combined fire awards, with a headshot from the nova the "killshot" on a few occasions. It just takes time to gather the required number, thats why its so high.

Developers put in challenges & achievements that are going to take you several weeks or months to earn so that you keep playing the title for that amount of time. Its standard practice in FPS online games now where there is stat tracking. Hell BF2 had awards that take YEARS to earn, so I wouldn't worry about C2 in that regard.
