200 hrs of flawless gameplay ... and then shooting Auriel's

So I have been playing Skyrim for close to 200hrs. Flawlessly. Very few problems, great FPS.

And then I shot Auriel's bow into the sun to see what would happen (I'm a vampire, I did the quest) and IMMEDIATELY my system dropped to something like 0.5 FPS. And it's staying there. No matter where I go, what I do, if I go inside or not, change graphic settings ... it seems like something permanently got into the save and is now destroying my FPS.

Ideas?

Obviously you missed the sun and hit Nirn's graphic processor.
Increase your marksman skill then try again, that should fix it.
