so just watched the movie on t.v (show case channel) and missed like maybe 5 minutes in the middle and about 25 minutes in the beggining so really have no idea who the characters are

So, lemme try and answer your questions.

The pretend pilot who just happens to be a dad and has a plane but wears a pilots uniform could be, possibly, maybe be a sailor(?) but could also maybe not be a dad(?) he just likes kids. He's in the bathroom.

And dog lady? Well she's magic..or at least her dog is. Though it's not really a dog and she's not really a woman. The dog is actually a teleportation device and the lady is a robot bent on destroying the human race. She materialized when the air tight doors were sealed. As was it's programming. But it forgot it's laser gun so it had to track down the pilot, who isn't really a pilot dude who may or may not be a father...or maybe a person. I don't know. My frickin' head hurts reading your threads.

The pilot guy is the step father to the main guys kids, and he's only a learner pilot and does pretty well, and the woman with the dogs is the rich guys girlfreind who the main guy is chauffeuring around, who he tries to dump and escape to the ships.

so what happend to the step father he just stopped existing by the end of the movie .-.

He was killed by the robot dog lady.

He was crushed to death in a needlessly pointless death scene so we could see the real father and the mother holding-hands at the end of the movie and get a nice happy ending to the death of the majority of the planet; it's one of the main reasons I hated the movie, it was so cruel and un-necessary. It's not like the gy saved everybodies life or anything, just crush him to death and the next day the mom and dad are back together again (despite the fact that the mother and step-dad were having no relationship problems or anything).

Just one of the many reasons that the main protagonists in that movie absolutely svck. God I hate it.

Other than the fact they made ships, that were supposed to be arks, which was stupid since they should have made submarines to navigate the mountain tops rather than doing a titanic.
