The PS4 is smaller than the launch PS3, which is nice, and seemingly smaller than the Xbox One too. Seems like it's a relatively energy efficient machine so no loud fans are needed

The PS3 was a huge machine, pretty sure it was wider and longer than the 360.

Except with slanted edges.

"The Playstation is for gamers."

Proceeds to go on about music, video, and TV.

While showing off the same sort of TV stuff that doesn't need to be on consoles.

It's all fine as long as it doesn't become the main focus like the Xbox1. You can't realistically expect them not to include those services, but MS took it a step too far it seems and made those things the focus instead of a nice, but out of the way feature.

Yeah I wondered why it started tomorrow. I think it's the conferences before and the 11th to 13th is just the booths and that stuff,

TV and film?

No games!?

Could it be ...

PS4 HAS NO GAMES!!!

....

I just wanted to say that.

...

Now they're talking about social media.

Maybe I shouldn't have told that joke and I've cursed the Playstation universe with no games.

Ah. Thanks for the clarification.

All this outside entertainment stuff is cool I guess. A streaming system that could destroy a need for cable could be interesting if they wanted to go that far, but I doubt they will.

Can we get to the price of this thing?

Heh. I've certainly done petitions. It svcks, but it's the only high-speed internet available where I live(it's a mobile wifi hot spot from AT&T). So, I'm constantly refreshing this page, hoping people give decent descriptions of what Sony is revealing.

A lot better than MS with their crappy voice remote etc. XBOX ONE puts loads of emphasis on TV.
