So, what exactly would be worth getting in terms of next-gen games?

FFXV, KH3, that's it, for now. Admittedly I didn't get to see what all was unveiled at E3, but those would be my primary choices regardless.

To continue last few pasts from last thread: I actually was already planning on ignoring the Xbox this upcoming gen regardless of what was brought out, whether it was going to be an awesome cnosole, or a crappy one like it's shaping up to be. I'm a sony person, and I didn't have the money to get a PS3(Had to settle for the 360), so I'm going for a PS4 no matter what this time around, even if I have to wait to get it until the PS5 comes out. That seems to be the case. To me, the Expo started to wind down after those two announcements. I also think Project Spark is worth noting. That game looks fun, even though it probably won't come to PS4. :(

I'm gonna have to get a PS4 with the announcement of Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV. They look frickin' amazing. :D

Final fantasy is so hit and miss and it's been mostly miss lately.

The Witcher 3 looks like the most next-gen game, and every article I've read on it says it plays like one too.

I've enjoyed every FF game released since I started playing video games, with the exception of Final fantasy Mystic Quest(That oh so horrid abomination) and FFXIV(and supposedly it's been entirely revamped and is going to be awesome, so who knows, maybe it'll be worth giving a try again). Different strokes for different folks I guess ^^

Ooooh, I forgot about Witcher 3. I'm not so sure if it can be considered "revealed at E3" though, as my last issue of GI had a story on it(or maybe the one before that, either way). Still, it does look to be an awesome game ^^

I've tried to enjoy MGS, it just doesn't do it for me. It looks like it could be good, but I'll be passing on it in favor of other games.

I find that people who complain about how Final Fantasy is dying really don't know what they are talking about. Square Enix is trying something new with every Final Fantasy game they make. If they kept making it like the older games, everyone would be complaining that it's "all the same" and "you've played one, you've played 'em all".

I honestly think that every Final Fantasy game in the main series (except original FFXIV) is incredibly amazing, and a lot better than most games I've played.

But I guess it's like Starwulf said. Different strokes for different folks.
