I can't decide which console to get Skyrim for. The fact that i can get DLC faster on xbox live would be nice, but i'm afraid that my extremely old 360 could crap out on me at any point.

EDIT: Nobody here has seen or played the PS3 version, so nobody can say which is better. Wait for the game, then ask.

For me, it really does come down to the controller. I absolutely hate the Playstation controller...just doesn't feel right to me. I'd say 360 for that reason. It's my preferred platform.

But the PS3 is undeniably superior in terms of its hardware, and even graphically if the devs put enough time in. It's probably less likely to crap out on you, too. So if that's a legit concern of yours, I'd lean toward PS3.

Completely down to personal preference. The game itself will be pretty much identical on both consoles and the early DLC is all but meaningless on a game like Skyrim. Get it for whichever console you feel more comfortable playing.

I don't think anybody can confidently make this choice yet, as we don't have reviews for either console, and we certainly have very little on the PS3 version. I have both consoles, and have played safe and gone for the Xbox 360.
