Aba Daba Honeymoon bug : Fallout: New Vegas

If you enter Vault 3 before starting the quest and sell Motor-Runner chems from your own supply and have told Colonel Hsu that you will kill Motor-Runner then begin the quest, Motor-Runner will not open a dialogue box preventing you from selling the highly suspicious package rendering the quest incapable of being completed.

xbox360(Above confirmed) Starting this quest after starting the unmarked quest to kill Motor-Runner makes it impossible to complete. No dialogue is possible with Motor-Runner after getting the note to kill him from Hsu, making it impossible to sell the suspicious package. You must do this quest first before ever talking to Hsu.

As I have just learned after looking up why Motor-Runner doesn't want to engage with me about the drugs, this has happened to me - Don't think I told Hsu I wanted to kill him though.... Would love for it to be fixed -.-

I'm in the same boat. I haven't talked to General Hsu yet, but still cannot enter a conversation with Motor Runner to finish the quest. I've been waiting for this quest to be fixed, and the the latest patch did not address this. I'm tired of waiting for Obsidian to fix this. From The Vault (the Fallout wiki), the reason for this bug is given as such: "If you exhaust all dialog options before approaching him for the Aba Daba Honeymoon he may have no dialog and simply respond like any other fiend in the vault rendering the quest unable to be completed." This is why it isn't working for me, as I always go through all dialogue options, and might also be the reason for your trouble.

Hm, well lets hope it's fixed. I'm a completionist, I want it done lol.

Never communicated with him before anyway. Looked through all of my completed quests, nothing in my completed log pointed me here. It's basically my first time in Vault 3.

L'sigh.
