Ability to Forge, Customize, or Add-On ArmorArmor Pieces

Post » Wed Jan 02, 2013 4:55 am

There has been a thread about custom weapons earlier and it gave me this idea.

So i role play a ranger character so i wear the unenchanted college robes. But i would like to add a leather pauldron onto the shoulder or maybe a bandoleer or maybe even a leather piece of armor under the robes. Something cool like that. Like the ability to blend armors together or even armor with regular clothing.

Thoughts ?

Also whenever you add-on armor pieces it would effect speed, stamina, but add armor though.

This more than likely will not happen if you do not have a PC and access to mods.

Why is that ? They could add that into consoles, at the forge, and just make it an equipable piece. Much like cowls and cloak mods for PC

Because Bethesda has never done anything like armor packs. Almost all of their DLC/add-ons have been meaty. And if I recall correctly regarding horse armor and the like, Bethesda said they have "learned their lesson" regarding small things like that and won't do them.

Yeah but they could add it in to a larger DLC, just like they will for usable spears and stuff like that.

That they could, but even then I doubt it, as once again, Bethesda's history has shown they do not do these things.
