[IDEIAREQ] be able to refuse the Whiterun thaneship for RP p

hello guys! soo, something that is really frustrating me is that if i want to advance in the main quest, i am, against my will, forced to become a thane of Whiterun,
don't get me wrong, whiterun is a awesome city, and is awesome to have the option to became a thane of the hold, but for RP purposes i would LOVE if someone
makes a simple mod (maybe not that simple, i really don't know notthing about modding xD) that let the player refuse the thaneship and still be able to advance in the mainquest/civil war just as a "friend" to the jarl, not a thane.

i'm trying to make a dragonborn character that is only thane of Solitude, like a Knight sworn to the hold promoted to thane due to his services to the Jarl,
but i simple can't roleplay this been forced to be the Thane of Whiterun too, i want to be the thane of just one hold

i was thinking in some dialogue like this:

- Jarl Balgruuf: By my right as Jarl, I name you Thane of Whiterun if you would accept this title. It is the greatest honour that's within my power to grant.

- Dragonborn accepts: I gladly accept the honour my Jarl
> Jarl Balgruuf: I assign you Lydia as a personal housecarl and this weapon from my armoury to serve as your badge of office. (etc and etc as normal)

- Dragonborn refuses: Thanks my Jarl, but i must refuse for personal matters
> Jarl Balgruuf: This is unfortunate to hear dragonborn, if you change your mind, i will always have an open place to you at my court
(dialogue follows as normal without the quotes/privileges of become a thane of Whiterun, the first option stays avaliable if the pc decide to became thane later on)

soo this way the pc would not receive Lydia as a housecarl, the guards of Whiterun would not have the thane dialogue and my character would be free to pursue his goals in solitude without been bound already to a Jarl
( i know thaneship is not a big deal in Skyrim's GAME, but became a thane of a hold would bring allot of responsabilities in RL, and i can't roleplay right knowing this q-q

For what is supposed to be an open-ended RPG, a lot of the Skyrim quests are on rails.

Skyrim is more open in world and interaction than it is in dialogue and quests. This would be a nice, simple fix. Though, it's better than Oblivion for forcing quests on you.
