In kindergarten I was really good freinds with a girl who will be called "X". So X and I both kinda had crushes on eachother (yes even in kindergarten) but then I switched schools and never saw her agian... She was always in the back of my mind. It was like a "what if" kinda thing. Fast foreword 11 years and I've found her on facebook, we chated and whatnot and she playes bass, I'm into bass heavy EDM and I'm a producer so I proposed we do a collaboration track and she agreed we should. Now I want to ask her out but I have no idea what to do

Well do the collaboration thing and start putting moves on her dude. As to how to put the moves on her, that's tricky to explain. Depends on the situation and the context really. Just be relaxed.

But really, that's the only answer. Just ask her to grab coffee or lunch first. Then progress to dinner. And maybe movie dates, etc.
