About Mr House

Okay two things about Mr House are a little unclear to me. First: Why is it so easy to reach Mr House? He actually invites some armed man/woman in his home and leaves a free path to his body? You only had to access two terminals that weren't even locked to reach the guy. You can actually access the two terminals and go down the elevator without catching one single bullet from one of his Securitrons. Once down, I expected to run into some more Securitrons, or have some of them come after me. None of that, House is just waiting to see what I'm going to do with him? And then there's the terminal just before him which you use to open his stasis pod. This one as well, has no lock or password. There are no turrets, no robots, no passwords. It was actually pretty hard to reach Legate Lanius and General Oliver at the end of the game, but Mr House owns an entire army of Securitrons, and yet he just forgets to take any decent protective measures for himself?

Second point: On the famous picture of Mr House, the one resembling the Howard Hughes photograph, what exactly is standing behind House? http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101101202360/fallout/images/thumb/b/bc/House.jpg/493px-House.jpg
To me, it looks like two big robot-feet. I first thought it may be a Liberty Prime-model robot's feet, but it doesn't resemble Liberty Prime. I do remember Yes Man guessing I may find a giant robot in the Fortification Hill bunker. Obviously there wasn't one there, but he must have gotten the idea from somewhere. Does anyone think there may be a House-built Liberty Prime-like robot in the Mojave? He is the founder of RobCo Industries, after all.

He didn't forget, he's just arrogant. He assumes that you're too in awe of his money and power to even think about such a thing.

Honestly, I think they're just generic robot legs. That portrait parallels one of http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101106050547/fallout/images/thumb/4/49/Howard_Hughes.jpg/384px-Howard_Hughes.jpg. They just switched the plane(Hughes was big in aviation) with the legs.

To the 2nd question I think its a rocket as he was the CEO of RobCo.

To the 1st question I think Mr. House assumes that you'll side with him.

- You are forgetting something. Just like the power armor has been gimped to cater to gameplay so has the securitrons. A securitron is basically a tank. Think of it this way: You have 5-7 http://www.cinemaisdope.com/news/films/robocop/1280-1.jpg in a confined space. Anyone but the superman-esque Courier would be pasta before hitting "enter". House has ample reason to assume he is quite safe from any petty intrusion.

I think you mistake RobCo for REPCONN. REPCONN was a rocket manufacturing company, RobCo Industries made robots. House was the CEO of RobCo, so I think it's likely it's a robot. I think there may be a posibility of it appearing in-game at some point, or it would've been far more logical for the developers to put some Securitrons or older robots like Protectrons behind House if there won't be any mention of the robot in NV.

The first point; it's not only the Courier House should worry about. There was always a possibility of Benny gaining entrance (he was researching how to get in) or a group (NCR for example) storming the place. Having decent security near his immobile body would seem like a good plan, it seems to me.

You have to have access to the key to get into the Penthouse though correct? Victor holds the key? If the NCR storm the place, Victor holds the key and dies, therefore stoppin the NCR. House can probably lock down his Penthouse, and then transfer his Monitor to another computer somwhere.
