So I've found the Amethyst, Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, and Sapphire Paragons scattered around the Forgotten Vale, having looted them from the beaten and besotted corpses of the several Frost Giants that were silly enough to think they could take me. My question now is simply this: are there any more of these Paragons (garnet, for example), or have I found them all? I did find the portal, and for anyone who hasn't checked it out, I strongly recommend that you go into each one. A few of the items found within are definitely worth the small amount of effort it takes to get to the primary portal location...

What do you even use those for? I only found three of them, but I never found out what they were good for.
But they're pretty, so if they're just clutter I'll keep them as decorations.

I haven't used them yet, but they're used to open different portals. I'm not sure where you use them, but they do have a purpose.

there's like a Key hole post for them by a door shaped stone column, put one of them in and it creates a portal.
It's by the Waterfall where you got your first Sapphire Paragon.

don't spoil it for me though.

A more useful, memorable, and permanent waypoint than "Near where you got the Sapphire paragon" would be...
