I know there are many small (and for some, large) issues with the game in it's current state, and it's frustrating. Beyond all that, there's the overarching theme that the game has serious latency issues (for most if not all users at times). I 100% agree that the game needed more time before it was pushed to certification, and into consumers hands.
That said, however, let me ask you guys a question. With the game in its current state, riddled with problems and causing headaches, do you honestly think it's even POSSIBLE to fix all of these problems within a week or two? If it was a matter of an extra week or two, I'm positive EA and Crytek would have pushed their game back. For things as giant as netcoding, it cannot be fixed in a very short period of time, if ever, honestly. When have you ever heard of a game overhauling it's netcode in a patch? On consoles, I sure haven't.
I'm as frustrated as the rest of you when I get into that game where none of my bullets connect, but coming on these boards every day going "WHAT THE HELL, CRYTEK! WHERE'S OUR PATCH?!?!" is getting a bit old, and is just plain unrealistic. Can you blame Crytek for not talking to this community? No matter what they announce, they will get slammed and raged upon.
All in all, I'm just saying.. be patient. It could a few more weeks before we see a meaningful patch. If you can't handle the way it is now, just go play something else for a while, and before you know it, the patches will be out.
Take care, everyone.
