This game is the worst game I've ever played. It's unplayable. Not only is the UI bad, but the mouse sensitivity svcks. It takes forever for me to just look up and look back down. Graphics are terrible. Oblivion's graphics were better. The graphics are all edgy and stuff. Maybe it's because I have all my settings set on low, but I prefer Oblivion's graphics over this crap. Even when all my settings on low, the game is super slow. Yes, my computer is not the best, but I can run Modern Warfare 3, which is 100x better than this piece of junk, so I should be able to run this, shouldn't I? And the controls! What kind of controls are these? Was this game made in China or something? So much things wrong with this game. I can't even change my graphics settings from inside the game, so I have to exit to my desktop and reopen it every time I want to try something. The AI is also terrible. The person at the beginning pushes this guy one way, and he jerks around to the right instead of the left. Magical, it was. And am I the only one who notices that your hands are not attached to your body? There is a small distinct gap between your hands and arms.

30 minutes in (25 minutes of it being loading screens) and I just can't stand to play this game. I'm uninstalling. I don't understand why everyone is saying this is a great game, because it isn't. I want my $60 back.

Big facepalm for you, Bethesda. I'm not buying anymore games from you.

Aw somebody has a rubbish computer and is raging. The game is awesome, unlucky for you that you can't enjoy it.

I keep being surprised by people complaining about the mouse sensitivity. I adjusted mine up from default (to maybe 30%?) and then had to turn it bad down a bit because it was way too fast.
(and I haven't gone to turn off smoothing in the .ini yet, either)


Question for all you folks who say it's so slow - what kind of mice are you using? Fancy million-dpi gaming mice? Or regular ones? Me, I'm using a $20 Kensington mouse. 4 buttons and a wheel, generic optical.

Play for more than 30 minutes you get used to the controls pretty quickly. Turn off mouse acceleration and vsync in the ini if you're having trouble with the mouse.

90% of the problems you mentioned are your fault, not the games. Graphics can be improved by getting a better computer, or even just turning up the graphics settings. I'm assuming loading screens would be too, since mine never take more than about 5 seconds. Controls and mouse sensitivity can be altered in the menus. AI has never been great in Bethesda games, but it's an open world game where every NPC has 24-hour schedules, so that's to be expected.

Sorry you're disappointed with the game, but if over half the problems you mention are fixable by you, and you don't even attempt to fix them, no one is going to want to hear you complain.

I see these threads and read "My computer is terrible and outdated, while your game is new and requires hardware above and beyond what I own, therefore your game svcks."

You can adjust look sensitivity, which i did, and ended any gripe i had about having to pick up and drag mouse to look around. This is a carry over from xbox's controls, QQ.

You're crying about the graphics on this game, and then referencing MW3 which is not open world and probably the most scripted game to ever come out. You're not a very sly troll.

My 2 year old system maxes the game out with a 5770 at 1080p and the worst frame drop i've had was in to the 40's. The issue isn't the game, its you.

Orderly response:

1.) The UI is bad. No help there.
2.) Change your mouse sensitivity, that's what I did - fixed my problem.
3.) Graphics look fine to me. I'm running the game on Very High. They aren't earth-shattering, but they're pretty decent.
4.) MW3 LOL.
5.) Same controls as Morrowind, Oblivion, and Fallout. What crack are you on?
6.) You can change your graphics in game. At least draw distances and stuff.
7.) AI has been fine for me.
8.) I don't see any hand/arm gap.
9.) You don't even control your character for the first 5 minutes of this game (which is apparently all you've played.) so you clearly got a good judgment of it.
10.) You my friend, are a moron. Go back to CoD.

well enjoy money wasted 2.5(MW2.5) but im sure this games graphics are better than MW3 , i would suggest getting a new computer or atleast an upgrade
