Accents that you find attractive

What accents do you find attractive in a man or a women?

I find that women with Scottish or Australian accents appeal to me. Plus I like redheads.

Germanic, and poor British. I don't know the real terminology for it, but you know... the dirty kind of British.

Cockney, I believe?
As for me, I just like people to speak English in an understandable manner, preferably with no or little accent (and yes that includes women).

There is something magical about a Kentucky accent.
I also am partial to English accents. There is a picture as to why I like it in comparison to the US "standard" accent, but the amount of obscenities in the 500x900 picture would get me banned in 3 seconds.

On another note: I have always wondered what other countries depict as the stereotypical American accent. Could someone please enlighten me?

Scottish accent makes me weak at the knees.

Also, I know it's blatant advertising, but if any of you like Irish accents, well there's plenty of it on my Youtube channel linked in my sig. :P

Yes, I think so...
and I can agree with some of this. As long as it isn't Slavic, Ebonic or certain types of Asian. I like Korean and Japanese, and I do like New Zealandic and perhaps Australian.

I really don't have much of a preference here. Though I guess the added exoticism of being with a woman with a different accent than myself could be rather appealing.

I'm a svcker for Lancashire accents. Or anything up North.
I would say Welsh, but as i live in one of the roughest parts of Wales, I honestly hate it.
Abergavenny/Hereford accent is quite nice. Its rather refined but with an UMPH.
(also as a Brit, when people ay "british accent" It makes me think "oh so Essix? Or Geordie? Or Scouser? Or Brummie? Or Scotish (Which includes Perth, Glaswegian, Edinburgh) ? Or Welsh (Monmouthshire, Powys, Pembroke, Cardiff, Valleys)? Or Irish (Cork, Dublin, Belfast) URGH)
sorry im an ignorant overtouchy british bugger with no sense oh humour.

I think you meant to reply to a different post. I just said I don't like accents, but I don't really mind if it's slight and not heavy (though I still prefer no accent at all).

The best thing possible, to me, is when you get a woman with a foreign accent that tries to talk with an American accent. Like Lucy Lawless in Xena.

And I love Xena.

Scottish. Doesn't matter which variant. Edinburgh is preferred, though.

I believe CERN proved this as fact with the Large Hadron Collider today.
