I've just finished the Diplomatic Immunity quest (meaning I'm about half way through the main quest), and NONE of the achievements have unlocked. I should have a bunch up until this point, including the one for Unbound, Way of the Voice, the Barrow, and a few others.

Here's the order of things I did:

1. Boot game, install update
2. Install game to HDD
3. Played a bit (nothing unlocked)
4. Uninstalled game from HDD
5. Played from disc (nothing unlocked)
6. Cleared cache
7. Installed update
8. Played a bit (no unlocks)

Any thoughts? It's not going to stop me from playing, but I only really wanted to play the main quest once and was hoping to get these achievements.

Also, it's weird because I seem to be the only person having this problem. Help!

This sounds obvious, but did you double check to make sure your Xbox LIVE account is signed in?

I'm pretty sure you get achievements even when playing offline.

LOL!! Of course you can get achievements offline... I played my original 360 for two years from release with no connection to live and got every achievement!

The only thing it does is not give you a date stamp underneath the achievement to say when you completed it.
Even today I get disconnected from live occasionally and get achievements popping, which is annoying coz I like them to have a date stamp

You can get achievements offline, before i got my router i played a ton of SP games and i was able to keep my gamerscore when i made my account LIVE.


honestly i think the games played best when you disable notifications and just play and not care about achievements.. i forgot i did that and turned notifications on today and i had at least 3 i didnt know i got
