Activating 'For Auld Lang Syne' Quest

Post » Tue Mar 29, 2011 11:32 pm

I read about the quest in the guide, sounded interesting, lots of cool stuff to collect, i try to talk to Arcade Gannon, and obviously nothing, as i don't have '2 Points' as it says in the guide, now i took him to the crashed Vertiberd, which according to the guide is 1 point, i completed the side quest 'The White Wash' and placed blame on the scorpions, which is 2 points, id already completed 'That Lucky Old Sun' which is 1 point, and id also completed 'There Stands The Grass' Which is 1 point aswell...
So that's 5 points ?
Yet the guide says i need 2 to unlock the speech option with Arcade, fair enough.. I try and talk to him, it still isnt there...
I saved before the point of no return, obviously so i could explore, etc so i qualify fir the specific part of the quest that needs to be completed..
Ive took him to the REPCONN Test Site, and he says nothing, he said something at the Vertiberd..
I don't get why im not unlocking the speech option to activate the quest ?
Can anyone help me ?
Many thanks in advance!

Well if you need more help go on Fallout Wiki. But for the quest to activate you need to be near the end of the story. Mine unlocked before the last mission until The Battle of Hoover Dam. So once you progress through the story keep him with you and he'll automatically talk to you after a certain amount of story missions complete. Good luck.
