I am sure there are many eager guilds & groups out there wishing to expand their network & player base.

Almost all MMO forums where guilds are present have an Official " Guild Recruiting " Forum so I kindly ask the forum admins if they would consider opening up one here so that guilds/groups may advertise without cluttering up the main forum & getting their threads locked.

These forums here are going to be replaced by actual game forums in the near future.

This is only a temporary forum (though I expected it to be replaced long ago...). TESO should soon have its own, separate forum and hopefully a guild recruitment section will be included.

I'm kind of surprised they are making a separate forum for it considering all the other Bethesda Softworks stuff is here.

I know its temp, but when a guild wants to advertise they lock the thread & ask it to be put in a sig form...

Is that not just requesting forum members to be spamtastic on threads??

I for one dont want to talk about nothing, just so I can plug my guild in my sig lol

Also... I am trying to change my sig but it wont give me the option in the "my settings" section...... what gives?

You need like 10 or 15 posts for a signature.

Advertising here seems a little moot now being so close to beta (and consequently, forums.) There is still a lonnnggg time before launch, so it isn't like you're running short of that.

Really? I've seen a lot of guilds forming here (http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1422927-solace-gaming-pvp-guild/, http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1419260-guild-the-sunhold-syndicate/ that I could easily find). The Marukhatis are already on their eight thread. Either way, you could start/join a guild on http://www.tesof.com/forum-guilds or http://tamrielfoundry.com/groups/.

I plan on asking to join a group in game while the Beta is going on. But not wanting to join any Clan until release.

These forums are probably still going to be here. It's just that the more "official" one will be on the TESO website.

There's a difference between advertising and letting everyone know about your guild. You were advertising the site in an advertising-ly way. There's a difference between "Hello. We're from -this site- and my name is... we'd like to bestow upon you the gift of being able to join our website" and "Hey, I'm making a guild when the game comes out about this, this, and this. Post here or go to the website to sign up if interested" (bad example, but I think you get the point). It also seemed like you were advertising the site, not your guild.

Click on your name up top, and then click "My profile." From there, click "Edit my profile" to the right and then click "Signature." If you are not able to click signature, then you might need a little more posts.

I am sure they will add in oficial forums in the next couple months. I think the game will be released probably at or around Christmas time so you have plenty of time. I expect forums around May or June.
