Can I adopt people outside of the orphanage? The only child I've taken notice of in this game is Braith because she's kind of funny. Can my sociopathic character kill her parents and adopt her to teach her in the dark arts? I"d also like to adopt the vampire girl in my brotherhood. Any of this possible or no?

Babette can't be adopted, since she's a 300 year old vampire so she's technically an advlt. The other girl, most likely.

Yes, if you kill Amren and Saffir Braith will be sent to the orphanage - then you'll be able to adopt her (with the usual requirements: completing Innocence Lost).

Yes, Braith can be adopted, but from what I saw in the orphanage, everything that made her so adorably obnoxious is gone. Losing your parents can have that effect on you.

You should probably kill the parents(if possible) of the boy that she likes too and adopt him, would create an interesting dynamic is the household.

As far as Braith goes, one of Amren's more heartwarming dialogs is about her. I could never harm him after hearing that.

I would adopt Braith just so I could abuse her daily by telling what to do. That brat gets on my nerves.

I've found that Battle Cry is a wonderful way of dealing with ornery kids. Doesn't hurt them, which is good, but they run off in terror. You have to pay 40 gold, but it's WORTH IT!!
