yes, the reward can be the crusader's relic from KotN, the Aedra are Mundus, they influence Mundus far more than daedra and yes they can manifest through avatars.

I don't think the Aedra are able to do that.

They're able to manifest through avatars look at Wulf from Morrowind and they have their artifacts the crusader's relics.

There are already several Aedra quests in Skyrim. Or are you talking about something else?

True, but not all of them have quests.

I thought there would be something like this in the vanilla game before I bought it. I figured that there would be an Aedra mission around Talos as he has been outlawed. Shame we never got one, it would have been really cool, though if memory serves, the Aedra are less likely to interfere with the affairs of mortals than the Daedra. Which is why we tend not to get Aedra quests. Still would be nice to get one.

You don't need to meet the aedra directly you can receive the quest from their acolytes or something.

Yes there should be more. As I understand Lore, the Nine (or Eight) can't manifest or change things as much as Daedra. But it would still be good.

But in particular, Stendard. Perhaps joining the Vigilantes.

There are quests for Mara, Kynereth, and Dibella.

The Aedra are... well, dead. (that is, the Eight Divines)
Other than that, there are some quests (Kyne's Sacred Trials is a really good one), though not so many artifacts.

A little off-topic but the aedra can't change because they influence everything in Mundus and are anuic whic is affiliated with static while daedra are more padomaic affiliated with change. And the nine can manifest through avatars like Wulf, and possibly the prophet.

I vote 'yay', although there are quests that refer to them there's no direct contact with them like there is with the daedra (talking through shrines). It would be a nice change of the aedra actually meant something rather than just an idea that people at temples go on about.

I'm currently playing a Knight of Arkay and I had this idea; you could get quests from followers of the Aedra instead of directly from them. You could protect their temples, defeat evil and the whole shebang. Sounds like fun.

There were three Aedra manifestations in Morrowind: Wulf (Tiber Septim), Jon Hawker (Zenithar), and Ama Nin (Mara). None of them gave anything particularly noteworthy in loot, but all three did give unique items. I would welcome a return of Aedra in Skyrim DLC or future TES games simply for the uniqueness of each encounter.

Considering how many mages there are in Skyrim, I'm surprised there was no quest involving Julianos.
