So I had already completeded http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:A_Daedra%27s_Best_Friend awhile back and ended up getting The Totems of Hircine quest and Aela the Huntress to follow me. I did a bunch of other questing then decided to go do the totems quest. To my surprise every time I tried to enter Haemar's Shame my ps3 would lock up and crash the game. After reading on the wiki page at the link I posted that appears to be a bug. Well now I am stuck with Aela and I am wondering if anyone knows how I can get rid of her? Can I kill her without too many repercussions? (not even sure I can kill her) I do not want to go back to an old save and don't really want to wait until the next patch to see if I can finish out the quest. Ideas?

thats where i am now ,i trying uninstalling the patch so forth ,it wont past the loading screen ,game not froozen like there no data on the disc for it ,i cant restart you only keep one save i overwrite it when doing 5 save thingy so i stuck with alea and this screen wont load sigh ,i just want my plantium so i go play another gaeme until this one gets fixed

Yeah my game is crashing when entering a cave to get a totem. Now I'm also stuck with Aela. This bug has really discouraged me from playing this game.

Try to wait the next patch.

im just not getting the Totems of Hircine quest... Aela only gives me the radiant quests to kill creatures... i've read thru strategy guides and even the unofficial elder scrolls wiki for tips/hints... still nothing. Aela does not give me the totems of hircine quest...i have not cured my lycanthropy and i have done ALL other companions quests.. still no dice.

My game crashes when Aela lights the funeral pyre for Kodlak during the Companions quest. Could this be related? Is she just the buggyest character in Skyrim?
