Hi just married her and now were going out killing things try to give her a godly bow and she wont use it......she equips the god bow but then when the fighting starts switch back to her default weapon. Does this happen to anyone else if so how do you make her use the better bow T_T.

Each character has an invisible combat script that tells characters what range they prefer to engage at.

Characters with a melee script will basically never use a bow, and always charge into melee.

In the mod-made companions from Oblivion, this was easy to handle in-game, because you could just talk to your companions, and tell them to prefer ranged combat, which would switch that script for you.

Bethesda, however, is allergic to useful and intuitive UI.

Really? Even though Bethesda had that exact option in the last two Fallout installments?
