Ok so I come home to my wife Mjoll in Honeyside, Riften and Aerin is home as well. I suppose that's to be expected, I haven't arranged for him to have an accident yet. Anyway, there is also one of those generic Nords, the ones that call you a milkdrinker, in my home as well. Well a fight breaks out which results in the Nord dying a horrible death, an Aerin pulling out of nowhere, a staff. I'm thinking, "Whoah, he's not meant to have that!" but the staff is unusual, so I save and then kill him. What do I find in his inventory?

The Staff of Magnus.

I went and quickly checked my chest, the one I keep all my weapons in, and what do I find? The staff is gone. Aerin stole my Staff of Magnus.

Aerin is a thief.

What's funny as well is, when I steal, I get attacked. When I attacked him, to get my staff back, he defended himself so I was entitled to kill him to reclaim my property and when I did, Mjoll screamed murder and wouldn't speak to me. She's now defending a thief.

Anyway, thought I would share, has this happened to anyone else before? Not just the Aerin wtf moments but anything like the above story in general? Do share, I thought it was pretty funny, could do with a bit more chuckles. =)
