It's a problem that cropped up a few days ago, in game. After a few hours of being able to summon dwarven reinforcements, the staff just stops working. At first I thought I hit some limit and after waiting I should be able to summon them again. I waited for a few RL days, and checked again, but still nothing. I can't find anything on UESP or on the wikia about it. The soul charge depletes everytime I time I use it, as if it was actually summoning something.

Anyone have any ideas about how to fix this? It occured mid-game, so I don't think it has anything to do with mods. I disabled all my mods and restarted, but nothing. I tried disabling Dawnguard, saving and reloading, but the game crashes when I try to save. I also gave myself another copy by console, and that one didn't work either.
