Again, is it worth it?

Post » Fri Dec 14, 2012 1:45 am

I bought Skyrim for $60. So $60=100%.

Dragonborn is $20. $20 is 33% of $60.

Does Dragonborn increase the amount of features Skyrim has by %33?

In other words, is it worth the $20 I'm going to pay? What new additions are in the game? How big is Solstheim? Can you ride dragons, and if so what are the mechanics?

If you don't think that Skyrim was worth more than $60, don't bother.

If you need someone to persuade you, don't bother.

Is it a good expansion? Yes.

Its a good dlc, if its 33% of the content in skyrim or not i cant realy say, im still occasily running into new things in skyrim (after 100's and 100's of hours of gameplay, i dont use guides etc so i doubt i will ever find all the content skyrim has to offer) and it feels like i have barely started with the dragonborn sidequests (been at this dlc for quite a while too, since release).

Well I bought Dawnguard and was satisfied, but I doubt I'll ever download and play through it again.

Might buy this game... the dragon-riding looks a little disappointing... but at least it's there.

Makes me wonder, could future DLC possibly take us to other places - like Cyrodiil, or even High Rock?

The new lore in Dragonborn is in itself worth the $20, if you're into that sort of thing.

... why would you uninstall dawnguard? You can use the things from dawnguard in normal skyrim, or/and in Dragonborn.

I have a new character after re-buying Skyrim, and I certainly don't want any Vampire attacks right now.

Perhaps when/if I finish the other quests in vanilla-Skyrim and when I level up good enough I might re-download it and do the main quests for it. Then perhaps buy Dragonborn.

Any chance we'll get a discount on Christmas week or something?

Well if your problem with it was vampire attacks then I know of a way to keep them from happening.
Vampire attacks on towns I mean.

Who knows.

Btw if you were satisfied with Dawnguard i think your gonna love dragonborn. The main dlc questline is a bit shorter, but theres alooot of new side quests (and side questlines) and content. I highly recommend it.

If this is how you insist on correlating price to value then no, it's probably not worth it for you.

I agree with this guy,

I enjoyed the dlc very much. But don't get it if you not sure
