Airwalk

I've never owned a pair of Airwalk shoes before, but my brother and I were making fun of the 90's and we started thinking about getting a pair just for the hell of it. I've been having a difficult time finding a decent looking pair online for some reason, but I remember they used to be everywhere. I came across http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Air-Walk-Athletic-Shoes-Mens-9-5-FREE-SHIPPING-Lower-48-/00/s/ODAwWDU2NA==/$(KGrHqR,!hoE7l!9w8foBPKF7WMUW!~~60_3.JPG on eBay but they are used so I'm not getting them. They look like the style in my head that I imagined getting.

I also found http://www.payless.com/images/700x700/093786_4_700x700.jpg which look even better but the reviews are absolutely terrible. Every review claims they tear up within a month, and lose what ever little comfort they had within a week. Are Airwalks just a terrible shoe, or is it just these? I thought they were made well to become so popular in the 90's.

Question 1: Are all/most Airwalks a terrible shoe?

Question 2: If not, where can I find ones that hold up, yet look like the images I posted?

Thank you.

Also, keep it clean guys.

I loved Airwalks and will always remember them fondly. They were never a terrible shoe, they were basically the poor mans Vans and they lasted a good while. The quality may have gone down, IDK, I haven't bought a pair in years. I'd suggest hitting a local skate shop.

I don't really have a local skate shop. I'm trying to find an online store I could order them from. Do you know of any?

Edit: The airwalk website doesn't sell any like the ones I posted. Their stuff looks like Air Jordans now.

If they aren't available from their website, they won't be from any other, at least not new.

The ones in my 2nd image are from PayLess and they have like a hundred different airwalks. I don't like any of them except the one in the image, because they aren't of that style. None of the newer style Airwalks from the official website are sold at PayLess. I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

I suppose so. Some stores do that from time to time. Regardless, in my continual search, I am having difficulties finding the shoes without horrendous reviews.
