since ESO takes place 20 years after third akaviri invasion, wouldn't it be cool if we got the chance to see them? I've always been fascinated by the lore and mystery behind them and the only references we have to them are text and not any visuals besides skyhaven temple. I'd just like to see maybe a few akaviri in tamriel and maybe one day the players might even visit akavir? who knows, theres so much potential

In Oblivion there was a quest involving venturing to an Akaviri stronghold, apparently it is a continent to the east that periodically launches invasions.
