Alcatraz/prophet thing

Sorry... search engine, and google dont come up with many... who the hell am I kidding, they come up with no definite answers to be honest.

Been reading everywhere I can find with no definite answer in sight. I just got into the series so yes i am very much ignorant right now... or maybe answer is staring at me right in the face and noobisly new of me not to see it.

1- Prophet was injected with the Manhattan virus how?
--He mentions the Cyph got inside him, and he must cut link to the suit. What does it mean "they got inside him"... i thought the virus was ment to kill not to take over

2-Does the nano suit acts as some sci fi conciousness archive? As in it preserves the memories and character of the people it wears it and merges it with the next?.... forgot how they call it in other games or books... generational archive of some sort?

3-Why did hardgreave needed that specific N2 suit. I thought the suits were synthetic contruscts... couldn't another N2 suit copy the progress made by the N2 alcatraz is wearing when its suit completes assimilation process? Did not understood the whole betrayal thing

--
4- Completely unrelated to story
But is there a way for the visor to automaticlaly scan targets instead of me having to go throw each of the damn triangles and press X? Like is done in the trail (yes i knwo dont trust trailers but)
-On tha side note... for future reference developers... make their colors be something else than greyish green... they are very hard to see anywhere unless through a wall thats dark. Red stands out easily.

Prophet probably got infected with the virus when going into the Ceph hive (not sure though).

The suit basically kept all the memories of prophet since it "changes all the rules" prophet is somehow fused with the suit and able to communicate with Alcatraz in the end (even though he suppose to be dead, maybe the suit somehow revived him IDK)

Hardgreave needed that suit because it had the Ceph nanofeed, so it pretty much could stop the Ceph virus if given enough time to anolyze it (and it does find a way to stop it eventually) so Hardgreave didn't want to take chances with the Marine that jacked his suit

Note that this is my educated guess from playing campaign not researched feel free to prove me wrong :P

You got the memory and the Hargrave assumptions right. Prophet speaks at the end of the game through Alcatraz because his lungs have collapsed so he can't speak. Hargrave also thinks he is the most competent man on Earth so he doesn't trust anyone else with Prophet's suit other than himself.

Collapsed lungs? I thought Alcatraz had a punctured lung and another one with heavy bruising? that doesn't prevent voice... if lungs were collapse it would mean death since no oxygen intake.

Thought his voice was out due to the rounds he took through the chest that dmged the vertebrae right behind the vocal cords?

On the suit thing ok I get it... he just wanted the suit just inc ase.... still not sure why another suit can't be injected with the same protocols and have the other suit copy it. But w/e

Thanks guys for the feedback.

Prophet was infected as he had to come in contact with the nano spore virus in order to develope the cure. The suit had yet to develope a defense against it as it had with you thus afflicting Barnes in the process. He had to "cut the connection" cause without defenses the suit would had been compromised to the Ceph.
The Suit was created by Hargreave using stolen Ceph technology after decades of studying. Hargreave mentions picking it up after the Tunguska Blast (a nuclear explosion that occured over a century ago in the Ukrain) Within the suit's "deep layers" was the Ceph's nano control frequency. The "virus" that was melting new yorkers throughout the game was infact nano machines taking people apart cell by cell. Using the suit you eventually unlock the frequency and take over the nano spores turning them against the Ceph instead wiping out there presence in New York in the process.
Considering that the suit maps your synapsis (brain functions) in order to manage it. It most likely kept Barnes's memory recorded on it to help Alcatraz become acustom to it and continue the mission. As the suit becomes more advanced as it incorporated more Ceph tech Prophet's recorded memory began to develope into a conciousness.

Yeah, but remember that the suit grows into the wounds, and heals you over time.. When the suit is powered down, you can tell that Alcatraz is messed up..

Now I understand it grows into the wounds. So collapse lung as a reason for no voice would be...unfounded.

he got his vetebrae mess so must likely his vocal cords are... well if he had no voice then it means the suit had nothing to grow back into... sooooo he got literally no vocal cords left most likely.

Still just wondering why the hell didn't Hardgreave got another suit seriously... he wanted to live forever? Get into a suit. Wait for the other one. Once the other is back. Kill himself by powering down the suit, nanites are sitll inside. get into the other suit before 5 minutes which I think how long it is before the brain is dead, and presto. Even if it fails he still has another suit.... that is what happens when you are greedy bastard you loose it all lol.

Still another question... btw just got my SUPERSOLDIER ACHIEVMENT wooot :P. Is that guy at the end talking to me the dude who Hardgreave says was dead?? the other founder or w/e?
