Alchemist's journal

I was always a bit bummed by the fact that skyrim didn't have an alchemist's journal. You discover potions by mixing ingredients together, but once you discovered one, it should generate a journal in your inventory for all your recipes. So when you're out in the wild, you can consult your journal to remember which ingredients you needed for a certain recipe. It would be cool if it was implemented in ESO.

what do you guys think?

I tend to mash the space bar (I remap Activate to that) as I go through the world, then dump all my ingredients into a container for later use. Then I pull out all the ingredients and make what potions I can. Then I have to put all the ingredients that I did not use back. So, yes, I would like an in game mechanism that would tell me what ingredients I need for the potions I want before I pull them all out of my container.

However, if you have some skills in Alchemy, it's pretty easy to find out the 1-2 combo of a potion from the ingredient info screen. What's trickier is the 1-2-3 combos and what ingredients will give you the best bang on the secondary and tertiary effects.
