Alchemy and ingredients: My hopes.

My hopes for Alchemy in ESO.

I hope I will be able to go off into the wilderness collecting ingredients, sampling them to learn their basic effect, wondering what other effects they may bring when combined with others. Just spending hours collecting and exploring the lands of Tamrial. Not a care in the world.

I hope that combining ingredients to create potions and poisons is well worth the time and effort. That recipes are never told, you have to figure them out for yourself by trial and error. I hope that ingredients from other regions can provide unique and interesting effects.

I really don't want alchemy to just be 25 potions and 25 poisons that tell you the exact ingredients and their locations. I want it to be like every other ES game, where ingredients have 4 or so effects and can be combined with other plants with the same effects.

To add to this: I really hope ingredients and other gatherables don't sparkle or glow.

Gotta have nirnroots.. something about an extremely rare hard to find plant makes them so much more interesting.
