Alchemy - Choosing Potion Effects

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 5:27 pm

Is there a way to specify which potion is created when 2 ingredients have multiple matching effects? For example, Blue Mountain Flower and Wheat both have Restore Health and Fortify Health. When I choose them, the default potion is Fortify Health. I'd prefer to make Restore Health, but I can't figure out how to change it. Is it even possible to do that?

I'm not positive but I think the stronger effect takes the name.
I am sure there is no way to change it.

That's just the label. if you read the description more closely you'll see the potion has BOTH properties simultaneously (Fortifies *and* heals)

It becomes more problematic when you have poison AND potion properties as it can be hit and miss whether it turns out a poison or a potion by definition (Albeit a poison that has some positive side effects, or a potion with negative ones)

If we could just rename them to our liking like we could in previous games this wouldn't be an issue...
