Alduin mod

Mod to alter end of quest where

u kill alduin. He was too easy. I'm going to mod him to double health and allow him ability to use all dragon shouts against you.
Also going to make an end of quest reward any ideas

The shout you use to get to where he is is a quest reward

the one where you summon a dragon.
If you improve upon that then it will make it more worth while. Also you could have a couple of dragon priests be summoned by him to help absorb some damage and

limit the assistance damage from the three heroes from Soverngarde.
If you make a unique bow, dagger, battle-axe, mace, and spell that are just improved versions of previous items (or if your really good unique meshes/effects) then that would be a great reward. You could use the effect of the katana found in the temple

on those items but to a much higher degree, like 75 or 100 instead of 20.

How about adding more dragons to the mix? Kinda like the MGS2 fight where you fight a bunch of Metal Gears.

Got some pretty evil ideas!

Simple stuff to add (maybe)

Make him prioritize the player 95% of the time, unless the allies outdamage you by a lot.

Reduce ally health and damage by at least 50%.

Make his flight/ground/attack speeds overall much faster, and with a larger range and area of effect.

Increase his overall defense and outgoing damage by a lot.

Give him 40% resistance to all damage including physical

Make him 50% harder to stagger.

Make Alduin use max level elemental fury, slow time, marked for death, and whirlwind sprint shouts.

Give him a flame cloak/shield effect like the spell, but much stronger.


Harder stuff to do


Make dragonrend last half as long against him, and make him invincible unless dragonrend is on him. Make it so without dragonrend, he has the ebonymail effect that turns you black and smoky and deals damage when you are near him.

Give him a lightning breath shout attack somehow, to put pressure on mages.

Give him a shout that knocks the player over, slows movement speed, drains and lowers regeneration rate of magicka, stamina, and health rapidly over time for 30 seconds that turns the player's skin/hair pale...like he is aging you.

Make his meteor attack summon more meteors, make each meteor have a large explosion radius, and make each hit from them deal at least 5x their current damage.

Unlink the timers of his dragonshouts, and make them come back twice as fast.

Make Alduin mind control one of the allies every now and then.



Add three ancient dragons to the fight, Name one of them Slen, one Laas, and the last, Mulaag. Explain that these three dragons, were created when a powerful and devoted dragons ervant of Alduin, damaged his soul and split it into three bodies....to protect and empower his lord.

When the first one is alive, Alduin takes 0 damage from everything even with dragon rend on him. This dragon will mostly use level 3 Unrelenting force to stagger the player and allies, harassing them, and ice breath.

When the second one is alive, Alduin constantly regenerates lost health at about 50% health a second. This one will use marked for death, making the player lose defense, and will use fire breath.

When the third one is alive, Alduin does double his current damage with every attack. This one will use Ice form and ice breath, trapping and greatly crippling the player.

Make these three dragons have a special ability, where if all three hit you within 8 seconds of each other, you instantly die. If you kill Alduin without killing all three of them, the ones left behind heal Alduin back to full health.

Make it so that as each dragon is killed, the next one becomes stronger and gains the other dragons' shouts. When two of them die, the name of the remaining dragon changes to combine all three words into a name.

When all three are dead, Alduin gains 20% more defense, health regeneration, and 30% stronger attacks, but can now be fought normally and killed. You get 0 dragon souls from all three of the dragons, as they become part of Alduin in the end.

you know alduin should still be defeatable... right? :P. Unless you are going to unlock multiplayer aswell, i don't think we can handle something with THAT much power xD

Just make an optional mod where these extras powers are leveled or even turned on and off based on the players level. Personally, I would always use the full power version. Though the 3 dragons idea, I would just make them Elders. Ancients need to be badass in their own right without being out shined completely by boss fights.
