Alien Blaster ammo :( : Fallout: New Vegas

The Alien Blaster is the best weapon in the game. Then I realized that the Alien Blaster Ammo in the gun is all that I was going to have. so the weapon is useless after that point. I would have liked it if the UFO was on the ground and you could enter it and get lots of alien blaster ammo and maybe some other cool alien weapons. Or being able to convert energy cells into alien blaster ammo.

I'm not 100% certain about this but I've heard with the WW trait there's an alien crash site that you might find ammo for it there.

I'm pretty sure that's where he got the Alien Blaster and ammo in first place.

Well, this glitch worked in FO3

Spoiler

Take alien blaster with 1 alien power cell.
Go to an area with fiends.
Kill ONE fiend.
Place the blaster and 1 APC on his body.
Let another fiend pick it up.
Wait for the fiend to equip it.
Kill him/her.
Take the Blaster and APC.
And through the glitch you should have 4 to 12 more APC's.
Repeat with every fiend in that area.

Take alien blaster with 1 alien power cell.
Go to an area with fiends.
Kill ONE fiend.
Place the blaster and 1 APC on his body.
Let another fiend pick it up.
Wait for the fiend to equip it.
Kill him/her.
Take the Blaster and APC.
And through the glitch you should have 4 to 12 more APC's.
Repeat with every fiend in that area.

Or, if you are on PC,

hit the consolation key " ` " and then type: player.additem 00029364, 1000 and hit enter and whack the " ` " key again.

That should do it. But if you're not, someone should really try that ammo exploit Gabe's outlining above to see if it still works.
