Ok watch the trailer "Be the weapon" and you stop at 0:40 i see a corpse of a man and it looks like that the corpse is damaged of an virus or infection ?? does look like that? i think it is , when you look his right leg there is something mutated skin or like skin when it boild in very high heats and his face, hip and chin is allso damaged whit the "virus" or infection. Have there been any news about such thing that the aliens have spred some kind of diseas to defeat the humans?? It could be bio weapon agains the humans to complete the invasion.

Yep, the aliens realesed a plague but they dount need that to defeat the human they already have I think,they just used it to decrease the human population incase some ofthem survived their invacion hope this answered your doubt

Plagues and stuff have been hinted at since the very first (and not very good) Crysis 2 trailer.
Some of the released staged screenshots often show a slumped over corpse which looks zombified, if you know what I mean.
Oh yeah, and on the home page of this very website there's a little Flash thing for the spread of the infection throughout all of the continents.

You know i have to agree with this, Also in that same 'Be the weapon' trailer, did anyone notice the huge incomming flood?! I was like OoooooOOoooo!! SHWEET!!
One of the things that really sold the first game for me was the dramatic change in the environment. Sweet hot weather to below zero temps in a snow globe! Amazing! Back to topic though, im getting a vibe of fire and heat this time around. Most of the trailers seem to have alot of fire involved. Maybe im looking into it a little too deep (New york is screwed after all!), But you know the aliens might just unleash a force strong enough that it can engulf the city inside a huge inferno!
