[RELZ] AlienSlof's companion dogs

Post » Sat Jan 08, 2011 12:46 pm

AlienSlof has created two different dogs for the player to recruit:

I wanted my dog back in my game, so created this little mod. It adds two dogs to Chet's shop in Goodsprings, that are free for the player to pick up. Take just one, or take both.
Attila is a big German Shepherd male, loyal and strong. He is based on my own dog, long gone and greatly missed. He will do his best to protect the player.
Bobble is a smaller Lurcher, from my story Wastelands Wanderer. She is less strong and aggressive, but still fights for the player.
Both dogs are marked essential.

You can download the files from Wolfore - there's a link in my sig. Note that registration is required to view AlienSlof's mods.

Nice looking Shepherd, my Mom just lost hers of 11 years, if I could get her to install the game,
she'd just install your Shepherd Mod and just sit there with him on the porch of the Prospector Saloon. :sadvaultboy:

Someone should congratulate Slof for me. Those are more than welcome to my game!

Consider it done, I'm sure she'll appreciate it. :)

Okay. I have edited this post to avoid embarrassing myself more than is necessary.

These are the most interesting companions I've yet had. They are like stealth companions. They don't seem to be with you at all. They kinda wander around in your vicinity.

Bobble does seem to be a little hard of hearing. Like Slof says, you might have to ask more than once.

The thing that fooled me was when you walk away from them, they don't turn and follow you. They just continue to wander around. If you get too far away they teleport close to you. If you fast travel, they will go with you.

There is no companion wheel and there is no adjusting their combat—they will defend you.

I think it's going to take a little time to get acquainted

Boy oh boy, if she could make a short-haired "Red" Dachshund, I'd be in heaven, because me and my Dog
could go out in the wasteland together. :vaultboy:

I'll mention it to her, but no promises that she'll make it.
