To all Argonians in ESO

Argonians: doesn't it feel weird working with the dunmer when you know they're going to betray you in a few years?

Obviously your player wont know, but I'd just feel odd buddying up to characters who are just waiting to throw me in chains again once this interregnum is over.

Also a lore question: why do you think the argonians (and better yet, the hist) are being na?ve enough to trust the dunmer? I know Molag Bal is attacking so everyone has to get along, but by that logic the factions shouldn't be warring with each other in the first place.

It's all very confusing to me, but then again you guys know I'm very biased when it comes to the story and lore in this mmo. What are your thoughts, argonian-enthusiasts? How will your character justify helping the dunmer instead of other groups, or just remaining isolated as always?

The Dunmer smith looks up from her forge and hastily shoves the barrel of chains and manacles out of sight behind the anvil.

"Throw you back in chains? Why, whatever do you mean? There are no chains here to speak of, none whatsoever. If you'll excuse me, I have to go see a man about a guar . . . "

She rushes off to the nearest corner club and whispers through a crack in the door, "They're on to us . . . "

That actually made me laugh. But yeah, it is odd that the dunmer abolish the argonian slave trade that their economy relied on to survive, only to reinstate it a few years later, and it svcks for all the argonians stupid enough to think their thousand year slavers would suddenly welcome them as citizens. I thought the hist was smarter than that though. Maybe they have something up their sleeves? Still odd
