The example house being built on the trailer looks really cool. I like all the stuff you can do and build and all the stuff u need. But how much is it going to cost?? All the resources and everything to build the house is going to cost. if its like the real world and it costs 1 mill septims i see no point in getting this dlc. ugh. Dont wanna buy it and end up spending most of my time earning money before i build a house. no way hozay. :(

...Chances are it won't be ONE MILLION SEPTIMS...That is ludicrous...
Some expensive upgrades sure...
But only people who feel that you really really really really need to earn your house are gonna want a 1mil price tag.

Wow 99.9% of people are complaining about having too much money, and here you are the .01% complaining about the house costing a million septims.

A million septims may be a bit too much but from what I've seen I think when all is said and done 1 million septims can fully outfit your MANSION.

And if you don't want to work for the gold, then don't expand your house.

I have 500k stashed away just in gold. Not to mention how I've hoarded EVERYTHING. It doesn't take too long to get a decent amount of cashflow.

You can find the materials your self, or if you're lazy and rich you can just buy them.

Let's hope it isn't that much money. Then again if it was only a small amount, I would have too much gold :swear: . Hopefully the price will be a lot, but at the same time not too much.

Hmmm this maybe just the insentive I need to start emptying my 'to sell box' again it's been getting so full it takes along time to open and close lol, I'm not looking forward to the hours it will take to sell it all off... Wish you could trade during the same transaction, I don't like skyrims one click sales system.
Saying that's if I can just buy it all with pocket change, you know what I'm talking about, the average dovakin has enough pocket change to choke not one, but a whole family of mammoths...
Hurray for (a possible) gold sink for once!

It seems a lot of the DLC is the journey of you building a house, though I don't think its going to be THAT much money, perhaps 100k if that and if your doing it the most expensive way. Then again we only have to wait a few days to play it :)

If you need gold, sell crafted potions or hunt Legendary dragons. I think those are probably the two fastest ways to make gold. Also, you can do the 125 thieve's guild quests to unlock the safe, that will take a bit longer, but it will generate a bunch of coin and unlock the thieve's guild trophies.

You have a sell box 2 :o

Lol it's needed after you have everything it's just a chore to go round selling stuff, so any duplicate non perishable items go in the to sell box, the box is then raided time to time for items to practice enchanting and smithing on, the result it box full of Demi god items with a combined value probably totally solitudes total wealth lol is such a chore selling items that cost as much as merchants have gold lol. Specialy when there like a 1000 of said items.
Currently my hope if for the buildable houses to have epic storage, and in the right places it does my head in that non of the houses have boxs near enchanting tables ect! I use the dwemer house due to it's large amount of storage, everything much to correctly sorted and accounted for lol. It's like you hoard all these potions and food and arrows you know any perishable items then never use them they are always there just in case lol I've been that way in all looting games for a long time!

What really worrys me is the moving house... It was hard enough in ob and fo/nv I'm seriously not looking forward too skyrims moving house, I guess I'll be buying a horse so I can travel encumbered. Still it's going be hardcoe lol.

That and the hours of needed redecoration! Nothing inrichs these games better than coming home to a pad stacked with loot and treasures,'memories of the game you spent many hours on and little details just to make it feel more alive like hav made meals and construction projects and a messy research desk! It's these things that bring beths games alive! I'm hoping it's not too much of a show home with all the craftable trophies and placks being highly static and gerishly placed...

Hopefully, the house will be expensive to build so that this DLC will last for a long time (long time to do misc quests to earn money to the house)

Simply this. No need to buy them. You can have 0 gold and still make a fully fledged house.

Just get an FHA (Falkreath Housing Authority) mortgage. Get the fixed, not the ARMs, yeah they're attractive, at first, but a year later, WOW. :)
