I havnt really played much Skyrim since Xmas last year. I got a job and that just killed my playing time.

I have a level 40odd character which doesnt really have any kind of thought into its development, its just a bit of everything, its the only character I have ever had.

I was thinking about starting again with a focus, here are my dilemmas..
Its been a while so some of the below may be wrong, please correct me if so.

Magic (Leaning towards this the most)
- Magic is kind off cool and scary, would make fun playing
- I guess its more challenging than just running up to someone and smashing them with a sword
- Variety of spells and stuff
= Concerned about the variety of clothing and items


Archer (Leaning towards this the most)
- Kind of cool, could get a little boring though?
= Looks fairly weak
= Concerned about the variety of clothing and items, weapons especially, is there much variety?


My first character was mainly a swordsman, so not that interesting in that, although the armours are awesome.


If anyone can recommend any complimentary stuff to level as well that would be nice (Not smithing unless you really recommend it)?
What race should I be as an Archer or Mage? Whats better out of the 2 Elf races?
