To all those saying they killed Lydia...

You musta hit her hard. I just Fus Roh Dah'd her off High Hrothgar. Ran down after her, couldn't find her, walked into the Honningbrew meadery and there she is, right next to me!

I mean, High Hrothgar is a BIG fall. She is one tough cookie.

(P.S. I know she only dies from being hit by me, I just though the Fus Roh Dah would count as the killing blow, not the fall)

You are incorrect in saying she can only die by being hit from you. I have no idea why so many people think this but it is not true. She CAN die from a bandit if he is strong enough which most are not.

Lydia died for me when i attacked the Northwatch Keep, she was knocked to the ground 3-4 times which i guess is why people assume she cannot die as she can take a few beat downs... but after she got knocked down again she most certainly did die. I was no where near her during the fight and was using sword and shield so know for a fact i never hit her.

I found those guards quite tough even on expert difficulty and it was probably my fault for not giving her better weapons and armour.

Some Hagraven blew Lydia up with a fireball in my game.

In fact I've lost about 5 followers now to dudes blowing them up with fireballs. It's come to the point where when I see a fireball flying in my direction I pretty much start planning to find a new friend.

That poor girl keeps running directly in front of me and I 3x crit her in the back constantly. Killed her 3 times so far but keep reloading since I'm not gonna let bad AI ruin my game. ;)

My version of Lydia once survived going over a very large waterfall. I thought she needed some excitement to spice up her life, something more than carrying around my junk.

a frost troll killed her... she held out for awhile, but i mightve been trying to get her killed and never helped her. i think excessively going into "downed" mode can kill her, hence her ability to be thrown off a mountain and survive because it only downs her once.
