Alternative ending to Civil War

Post » Tue Jun 12, 2012 5:00 am

I wish there was more than 2 ways to end the Civil War in Skyrim. Since I play as an Orc, I think It'd be cool if you were able to join together the 4 Orcish Strongholds and just take control of Skyrim for the Orcs. Although I know It'd be pretty much impossible for the Orcs to defeat both the Stormcloaks and the Empire, it still seems like a neat idea to me. Has anybody else created ideas for alternative solutions to the Civil War? I'd like to hear some nice ideas.

A Thalmor alternative would be nice, some missions involving killing/bribing certain people to let the conflict escalate without allowing either side to win.

I don't see the orc one making any sense, the strongholds aren't big on conquering stuff. There are basically just three outcomes out of a civil war. Victory for one of the side and ongoing warfare, the latter would be the Thalmor "victory".

Besides: Cool ava, but is he puking or laughing? :D

How about Alduin destroys Summerset Isle, and the Thalmor with it? The Dovahkin becomes the new Emperor of Cyrodiil and High King of Skyrim. Talos worship is made free everywhere, and peace reigns.

I support this, as long as he takes Black Marsh too.
Those Lizards will then crushed, and the Dunmer can return to Morrowind with glory.

Don't spoil the ending of any future DLC. :D

Maybe one could chose the side of the Forsworn and the Reachmen will CHIM out and steamroll over Tamriel, Akavir and Atmora.

I think boats are more practical than glory.

Like I said, It'd be impossible for the Orcs to beat the Empire and the Stormcloaks, I was just suggesting that It'd be pretty cool to imagine them doing so.

It's a hard life, but we make do.
Only Vvardenfell was destroyed, so we lost that.
No more Ashlands or Almsivi, sadly.
But the mainland Morrowind is habitable still.

We should have been given the option to peacefully end the war. Convince all sides to sign a treaty. The nords get Skyrim, in exchange for duty to aid the empire in the upcoming great war 2. The thalmor would be tricky to convince. Violence would probably be necessary.

Well, you can't expect the Thalmor to agree to human preparations for Grat War 2.

How about this? The stormcloaks and the empire continue to fight, but only to keep the Thalmor blind. In secret, they plan to unite just as the great war 2 is about to start! A bit far fetched i know, but i cant see any better solution.

So basically hate mongering the whole day but no skirmishes between Imperials and Stormcloaks? Could work, but the Thalmor are the military intelligence masters on the continent, I think the plan would fail.
