Amazing Game Bethesda, Thank you!

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 7:14 am

I played for about 3.5 hours (on PC version) last night before passing out and I don't know where people are finding all these bugs from. Granted I haven't seen the Mammoth bug yet where it gets stuck in mid-air, but the UI is fine for me honestly. I'm using the mouse and keyboard and the scroll wheel works to go up and down in the menus, the moving and clicking the mouse works for me just fine. I seriously do not see "all the bugs" some are talking about in the game. Also someone complained about how to close a chest? Umm...hitting tab works.

Anyways, fantastic game and I am thoroughly impressed.

I would have to agree. I played for about 3 hours last night and another hour before work this morning and didn't run into any bugs whatsoever (on PC). My only problem is hardware related on my end so that I'm stuck with medium graphics but the game is still amazing so far. Most of the complaints/bugs I've seen are so inconsequential in my opinion that its almost pointless to complain about them. Oh no I will never play another Bethesda game because I have to use Tab to get out of a loot window... Really? That takes like 10 minutes to get used to and now I don't even think about it while I'm playing. Anyway, great job Bethesda as always, I wasted several years of my life in Cyrodill and will most likely be wasting a good portion of the next one in Skyrim. :D

Yeah, it's really the silent majority that are fine with the game. Sadly, most forums have the noisy element with a minority of the problems.

I agree. I'm absolutely loving it. No game is without it's flaws and opening bugs but HUGE kudos to the devs here. A wonderful achievement!!! :foodndrink:

Played from midnight to 5am before I took a nap and went to work. I can already tell that I'm addicted and will be playing this game for years to come.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new combat system. My Breton mage is so much fun. Conjuration is leaps and bounds above what it used to be and archery, oh archery. I can't express how excited I am to get back home. :tes:

I agree. I haven't had any issues as of yet. Some minor LOD issues and a few floaters here and there, nothing to worry about. I feel sorry for those who havent got the opportunity to enjoy the game though.

Nice to see some happy faces in here :) I'm getting the game in a few hours and I'm so excited! I haven't been this crazy about a game in my entire life! I just can't wait. :D

I think the game's opening sequence and playthrough is one of the best I've ever seen/played. Really sets a nice tone for the rest of the game, too.

Yeah, it's really the silent majority that are fine with the game. Sadly, most forums have the noisy element with a minority of the problems.

Yeah it's like user feedback isn't important. Thank the divines patches aren't tied with user feedback.

The problem is PCs have an almost infinite amount of different hardware setups. It's almost impossible to predict how a game will behave in all of them

I'm on the same boat as the OP. My PC is handling the game pretty well with everything cranked up to ultra and I'm yet to find any bug.

Can't wait to get home and play some more.

I'm not that far into the game yet but I think it might be the best RPG I've ever played. Amazing work from Bethesda and the metacritic score is well deserved.
