Amazon preorder status? : V

Like many of you, I preordered skyrim from amazon. It's currently saying it will "ship soon," while simultaneously saying the expected delivery date is 11/11/11.

Is this what you guys are experiencing too? Do you think amazon will deliver by tomorrow?

@RAF1940 : Don't despair - the majority of people are having so much bloody fun they can't be bothered while those disappointed have nothing better to do but vent and moan and do anything else they can think of to have the fun they built their expectations too. It's all in a good TES release

Yeah, same here too. Don't worry though, I have been ordering games from Amazon for 2 years and not once have I received a game after the release date. And is it just me, or are people being a little too dramatic about the game's bugs? Sure it has bugs here and there, and the 360 version has that texture bug, but nothing game-breaking has been reported.

Mine shipped earlier today, with an expected delivery date of tomorrow. I wouldn't worry if your orders haven't shipped yet. In the past, I've preordered from Amazon and they've always come the next day, even if they don't ship it out until 1 in the morning or later. It could just also be a delay in their system. A previous preorder of mine didn't say "shipped" until midnight, but UPS says they actually shipped it at 6 PM. <_<

Lol fair enough. I wasn't here for OB (got it in 2008), so I don't have that experience.

I just hope I don't spend 3 days tweaking crap before I play.

My game shipped 20 minutes ago from Delaware. I have never had anything show up late from Amazon. It is supposed to be here tomorrow, looks like someone is going to be driving all night. =)

If its so horrible just cancel your preorder before it ships and wait until they patch it up before you spend money on it. Either that or just wait till you get your hands on the game and play it instead of posting about how crappy the condition of a game you've yet to play is in every thread you can.

I just got my shipment notification email like 5 minutes ago, but went i went to track it it really shipped this morning I think theyre just behind on updating the status of orders

I preordered in June, it says shipping soon, expected delivery date November 15. I think I chose the wrong delivery choice--I chose one day delivery instead of release day delivery. Oh well, maybe by Tuesday the downloading from Steam won't take as long as it has for many of the people today.
