Not Holding my breath as the previous 4 releases yielded the same "crash and burn".
Seems most fixes are geared towards the 32 bit OS.
I'll give it a whirl on my Win7 64 Ultimate, AMD mobo, chipset and drivers, Radeon 5830......
......Hope is a blissfull thing.

I'm run rage for the first time ever yesterday and it didn't even load. Downloaded the latest drivers from AMD, and it works a charm. No stutters, pop-in, tearing, nothing. Amazing. Give it a go!

Doesn't work at all. Something like 0.25 frames per second after the opening cinematic. (AMD Sapphire Radeon 5830 Xtreme / AMD Phenom II 955 4 x 3,2 GHz)

Correction to my above post: I've been running the http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/GPU121AMDCatRagePerfDriver.aspx and have no issues at all. However, this driver has instability problems with a 3d design program called Solidworks, which also uses OpenGL. The drivers crash the program. So I updated to 11.11c and Rage loads, but looks worse, the FPS is substantially less, and artifacts.

The Performance driver I linked to works for me, uninstall other drivers and give it a go. However you might have issues with other programs that use OpenGL.

For everyone with 5830 cards I am also using the same card. Check out my threat http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1245083-a-solution-for-the-glare-issues-with-the-5830-cards/page__p__18916015#entry18916015.

The .dll from this driver got the game running for me.

ksb1082: Thanks man! Just got the game working with those instructions. Previously it was like 0.25 fps after the opening cinematic, now it seems to work. Hope I will not run into crashing problems etc. that other guys have experienced with this game. Btw, I have HD 5830 Xtreme. Thanks!

After playing for a while I noticed, that the frame rate was pretty low. When in the middle of a battle it dropped to barely 20 fps. Changing the graphics options won't help on frame rate and the textures sharpen slowly. We definitely need another fixed driver update.

hi

i started up this game after a few weeks of not playing and updating my dirver through ccc.

the game was very slow compared to before the ccc upgraded driver.

the game kept dropping to 30 fps every to i turn around.

and enemy comes on screen 25 fps.

i put on 11c and now its plays like before...fluid and doesnt lag to 30 fps all the time.

thanks

Sean
