This worked for me! It's running both cards at 99% and no flickering.

2 - HD5870
Using Catalyst 11.4 preview driver
Driver Ver. 8.84.3-110226a-114256E-ATI
Catalyst Ver. 11.4

EDIT: Same framerate as single GPU also. My Crysis 2 is a retail disc, not the steam version.

Twitter posting from @CatalystCreator:

we're trying to get a better CAP for Crysis2(all versions) as well as Shift 2 - will let you know once we have something.

here also, after a quick test (just intalled the new cap from today on top of the driver) , gives exactly SAME framerates as single GPU, but removes flickering.

i'll test tomorrow with a clean driver install.

Flickering is gone until you minimize or open up the steam browser and it starts back up again.

Just use Radeon Pro..you don't have to give up anything.

With the profile I made, both my 5970s are humming along just nicely...not a flicker in sight.

Not the first game I had to use Radeon Pro for to stop HDR flickering ( Fallout 3, New Vegas, etc )

I don't chase the dragon anymore ( The all " magical " driver or profile ) Screw dat ! I got better things to...like play the game.

Radeon Pro does that for me..gets the game running right until ATI drops the right profile or driver.

Radeon Pro should be part of Catalyst...

I know it's only a temp fix until new drivers come out ..but it works and I don't waste time rolling back or reinstalling drivers just for one game. No windowed mode..no flickering..no graphical errors...no turning off cards. Just gaming goodness.
