From the previous thread:

After upgrading this new driver (v13.1) from version 12.8, I have noticed a significant framerate improvement within Skyrim. I have dual XFX Radeon HD 6850 DD video cards running in a CrossfireX configuration. I use the FPS Limiter program and with the old drivers I could only run the game capped at 35FPS without any stutter issues. The new driver has allowed me to run the game capped at 60FPS (my native refresh rate) without any stutter at all.

Anyone else noticed any changes regarding microstutter and using frame rate limiter?

No stutter here using 12.10 and the FPS clamp in MSI AB....was getting a tiny bit if clamped to 60 fps but setting to 59 solved it completely. Only reason I am not running newer drivers is that I can't afford issues atm got some competitive online gaming as my focus currently so going with the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" school for a while. Hearing good things about the 13.1 and some of the fixes missing were solved in the 13.2 beta which should be live on AMD site shortly.

Yes it has, no flickering at all now and get decent performance/fps whilst using a enb config. So overall im happy with 13.1.

On Anandtech forums I read that 13.2 should fix the frame latency issues, i.e. microstutter.
But that we should NOT install it (until they release it themselves that is). That was apparently a warning from one of the developers. Sorry I can't provide a link. The site seems to be temporarily unavailable. At least for me.

Yes 13.2 will address the frame latency issues the fix is not in the beta however. Devs will always say not to install a beta leak...it is a leak and like any beta use for testing purposes not if you are looking for a game fix. In the end 13.1 is 12.11 beta official so if you have been running that for a while now waiting for something new well you have the leaked driver.
The official AMD beta should be released in a few days.

I think I will give the official 13.2 beta a go when released as although the flickering in my game is gone, I have noticed slight microstutter for a while in game regardless of fps.

Is that the official or the leaked?
If official, do you have a link? I could not find it on AMDs site.

Please note if you have a laptop with intel Sandy Bridge or AMD Llano CPU and switchable graphics, you may not want to update to 13.1.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/6689/addendum-regarding-amds-mobility-catalyst-131-drivers

It seems this driver is intended for systems without switchable graphics, as well as laptops with Ivy Bridge or Trinity switchable graphics (Enduro).

13.1 Mobility Catalyst drivers are intended only for Enduro systems with Ivy Bridge (3rd Generation Intel Core Processor) and Trinity (2nd Generation AMD APU); earlier laptops with Sandy Bridge (2ndGeneration Core) or Llano (1st Generation APU) are not supported with this driver.
