Has anyone out there managed to play Rage with an AMD/ATI Mobility edition card? I can launch the game but constantly experience game crashes consistently within about 2 minutes of game play. I've tried various combinations of config files and drivers but can't seem to get anything which makes the game consistently playable. Is all hope lost or has someone got this working??

I'm trying to run Rage with the following specs.

System Specs:
HP Envy 14 (laptop)
Processor: Intel Core i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64
Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 6600M
Video Drivers: as installed from "amd_catalyst_11.10_preview2_win7_vista.exe"

Have you tried the preview3 driver yet? It's the one shining light in all of this mess that has allowed me to actually play the game almost without problems. I do get the occasional zoning crash but it's not happening very often. I don't have a Mobility card I might add.

I got it running supersmooth on my 3 year old vista-laptop(dualcore t8100 2*2,1ghz 3gb mem wth a atihd3650 256mb gpu after installing a modified version of the latest Driver.

there"s still the occaisionly crash when loading new areas , but i think that"s becus
of me using a trainer for infinite bullets ....lol
