Amidst all the negativity: Thank You Bethesda!

Post » Thu May 10, 2012 2:19 pm

After a relatively little time spent with this game, it has already become my all-time favorite! Better than both Oblivion and Morrowind, by far (and they are both in my top ten favorites)!!

I'm absolutely loving almost everything about it. Sure, like everyone there are a few things that I would rather have had a little different, but I can forgive them all, even the much-debated forced 3rd-person kill cam. That was something I was really worried about, but even though I still wouldn't prefer it, it is completely forgivable given how amazing everything else its. Beautiful game graphically, atmospherically, and mechanically! The level of detail is awesome, especially given the world size -- I've never seen its equal!

Also my friend who never liked fantasy games much is loving it and can't put down the controller. Don't let all the whiners get your spirits down, Bethesda. You're only getting better and better! Thank You!!

Agreed. Best game ever made. Glitches and bugs only add character and flavor  Except when I almost had an arrow permanently lodged in my shoulder... that was terrifying. But I loaded the wonderful save that (I think) is made automatically at the very beginning.

Yeah I agree, I'm lovin this game a little too much. My assessment for the course I'm doing is now 5 days late from when it was suppose to be handed in and I haven't even started it yet. Damn you for being so awesome, Skyrim!

I honestly dont know why people would whinge about this game. It is awesome. I agree with previous posters, this game is truely a work of marvel.
At first I was suspicious about the whole dragon thing, but they have certainly integrated them really well. Cant wait till I get home from work to enter into the world of skyrim again.

Yea ignore the haters. They're probably hardcoe final fantasy squeenix fans
who cannot comprehend the vastness and freedom in an elder scrolls game.
(don't get me wrong, i love the old ffs on snes and ff7/ff8/ff9/ff10. Just that the recent ones are really trash)

They're like a frog in a very very deep well with no hope of escape, complaining that the world is not big enuff. lol

Yeah, agreed. Skyrim is just astoundingly good. It is better than anything else I've ever played. I really don't mind the bugs, but I will be trying out some mods to tweak the UI, for example.

There is so much to do, it's mind-boggling. At 15 hours in it looks to me like Skyrim is going to last me much, much longer than Oblivion's 315 hours. Great work! Every time I have to go and work or sleep I just think about getting back to Skyrim
