Amidst Skyrim release, a site to put forth the most recommen

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 2:57 pm

Hello everyone, I announced this in the Oblivion mods section a little while ago, but I wanted to make sure it got a mention here. I'm trying to spread the word about a site I put up dedicated to presenting the most recommended mods and tools that still put forth the most "pure" Elder Scrolls experience. Please check out http://www.espurist.com and subscribe to the twitter feed at http://www.twitter.com/espurist as I will be staying on top of mod news and let you know asap when mods are released or updated, or the site undergoes a significant update.

My goal is to have the site be a tool for those who install the game and ask: "what mods should I use?" While this answer is highly subjective, I still feel like espurist.com can offer a sort of standard for mods and tools that I feel is currently lacking. I personally have combed through several lists of Oblivion mods for the Oblivion section (which isn't complete yet, but hey Skyrim is here), and will continue to search for the best mods out there. I expect Skyrim to be the same, as the modding community (including myself) is so vibrant around these games.

Happy gaming all, and happy Skyrim release day!

Just a note (I don't feel like posting it in the Oblivion thread at the moment >_>): you may want to link to the important docs we've got in the Oblivion mod forums such as the FAQ and those things. May be a bit out of date, but it will help both Oblivion and Skyrim folks until they can be updated and/or ported over.

Rather use this, as it will be the biggest mod place , was the same with F3 , F3nv and Oblivion.

This is different. It's not a host, but a site of information. Nexus is a host.

My site exists basically because of TESNexus and Skyrimnexus. Those sites host anything and everything, mine picks through and presents the ones that prove the best to improve your experience. It's a service to you, if you care to use it.

If you're prepared to visit nexus and sift through junk like japanese school girl costumes and other pedo mods, then fair play to you. You'll be doing TES fans a big favour.

I'll fav your site.

I like how the site looks like it was designed around the time Daggerfall came out (1996).

But seriously, this is a pretty good idea.

I'm sorry, but I have to close this thread. As stated in our http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/724862-forum-rules-and-general-information/, we do not allow advertising of fansites.

You are welcome to post it in our fansite list and/or in your signature though :)

Thank you for your understanding,
